By accessing or using StageCrown ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, event organizers, and anyone who accesses the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false information, or are used for fraudulent purposes.

All ticket purchases are subject to availability. Prices are set by event organizers and displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless otherwise stated.

• Refund Window: Refund requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the event start time. Requests made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for a refund.
• Platform Fee: A 5% platform service fee is non-refundable. Refunds are processed on the remaining ticket amount.
• Event Cancellation: If an event is cancelled by the organizer, you will receive a full refund including the platform fee, processed automatically.

Event organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event information, fulfilling the event as described, and complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

• Responsibilities: Organizers must ensure events are conducted safely, provide accurate descriptions and schedules, and handle attendee communications in good faith.
• Payout Terms: Ticket sale proceeds are held for a mandatory 7-day holding period after the event concludes before being released to the organizer's designated payout account.
• Platform Fees: StageCrown deducts a 5% service fee from total ticket sales before payouts are processed.

StageCrown reserves the right to withhold payouts if there are unresolved disputes, suspected fraud, or violations of these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Create fraudulent events or sell counterfeit tickets
• Resell tickets at inflated prices (scalping) without organizer authorization
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or Platform systems
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or code that could harm the Platform
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or organizers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity

The StageCrown name, logo, branding, and all Platform content (excluding user-generated content) are the intellectual property of StageCrown and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

By posting content on the Platform (event descriptions, images, etc.), you grant StageCrown a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform and your events.

StageCrown acts as a platform connecting event organizers with attendees. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of events listed on the Platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StageCrown shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to StageCrown in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Lagos, Nigeria. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
