Refund Policy

1. Eligibility

You may request a refund for ticket purchases on StageCrown under the following conditions:

  • The refund request must be submitted at least 48 hours before the event start time.
  • The ticket must not have been used (scanned or checked in at the event venue).
  • The ticket must have been purchased directly through the StageCrown platform.
Requests made within 48 hours of the event start time are not eligible for a refund unless the event is cancelled by the organizer.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Navigate to My Tickets in your account.
  2. Select the ticket you wish to refund and click "Request Refund."
  3. Choose a reason for your refund request from the available options.
  4. Provide any additional details to help us process your request.
  5. Submit the request for review.

You will receive an email confirmation once your refund request has been submitted. You can track the status of your request on the Refunds page.

3. Processing Time

Refund requests are reviewed within 1-3 business days. Once approved, the refund will be processed and returned to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

4. Platform Fee

A 5% platform service fee is charged on all ticket purchases. This fee is non-refundable under standard refund requests.

For example, if you purchased a ticket for NGN 10,000:

The only exception is when an event is cancelled by the organizer (see Section 5 below).

5. Event Cancellation

If an event is cancelled by the organizer, all ticket holders will receive a full automatic refund, including the platform service fee.

  • Refunds for cancelled events are processed automatically within 3-5 business days.
  • You will be notified via email when the cancellation refund is initiated.
  • No action is required on your part for cancelled event refunds.
Event cancellation refunds include the full ticket price and platform fee.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Tickets for events that have already occurred
  • Tickets that have been used (scanned or checked in)
  • Requests made less than 48 hours before the event (unless event is cancelled)
  • Free tickets or complimentary passes
  • Gift-Me link contributions
  • The 5% platform service fee (except on event cancellation)
